Geometric drawing (CAD)

The geometric design software consists of an easy to use CAD module and can be used to create new drawings or to import drawings from other programs in DXF format.
It is possible to copy cardboard/plywood shapes on board of the machine by means of a two-dimensional laser scanner (optional), as well as to copy three-dimensional shapes (bas-reliefs) by means of a dedicated three-dimensional scanning device (optional).

The numerous automation palettes of the main functions (lines, arcs, segments, trims, etc) make drawing quicker and everything can be highly customised to make the CAD interface even more user-friendly.
A special function called "spline" allows several points to be joined together, creating a closed shape with tangent geometric figures, in this way making it extremely easy to copy cardboard/chipboard profiles on the machine by means of the scanner (optional).
Lastly, the package is completed with a parametric library of preset simple profiles, ready for their dimensions to be edited by the operator.

Machining program (CAM)

Expert marble craftsmen as well as young computer specialists will find the use of the software dedicated to the machining program module (CAM) very simple to use.
This module makes programming simple and interesting at the same time, as the extremely intuitive interface allows the functions to be automated very quickly.

The program calls up the file with the geometric drawing to be executed, and the operator decides which parts of it (or all of it) to carry out.
At this point, depending on the working operations chosen, the operator is offered a set of tools with preset working parameters, which can in any case be edited by the operator, according to his own personal experience, even for each individual tool.

The tool data are memorised in such a way that they can be recalled as and when necessary; at the end of each work cycle the ISO machining code is automatically generated, which will then be sent to the machine via cable or via wireless or by means of a simple USB key.

Two more interesting functions for the operator are the tool path simulation, useful for preventing errors on the piece when it is already on the machine, and the calculation of time and working costs, an extremely useful function for working out costs and therefore mark up to be applied to each piece produced.
